"I am a co- owner of the Vancouver Canadians Professional Baseball team.When we bought the team we did a 25 year lease on the City's 50 year old Nat Bailey Stadium.It had been decades since the stadium had had any work done on it and it was basically in total disrepair.

We hired Susannah Walker to upgrade the look of the Stadium and she did a spectacular job on a very limited budget.Through the creative use of artists renderings of historic baseball images, graphics and a marvelous use of colour, this iconic old Stadium was transformed into a great spectator space that had total integrity with its history and character. Susannah's success is evidenced by the fact that American media have rated Nat Bailey Stadium the fifth ranked minor league ballpark in North America from an asthetic point of view in competition with over 200 other such ballparks.As well, the stadium has been described in another publication as "Wrigley Field North".

Not only did Susannah accomplish this with a limited budget, but her work has had exceptional impact on our bottom line. I'm pleased to report that in no small part due to Susannah's work in enhancing the fan experience, in 2009, in the face of a very tough economy and major declines in baseball attendence throughout major and minor league baseball, our attendence at Nat Bailey grew by 24%.

When Susannah Walker started her Vancouver based business in 19 99 , she hit the ground with her feet running. Her first project, a New York style townhouse on Point Grey Road was amazing which is why it was immediately published in Western Living.
